I was scrolling through some of my regular SFF (Science Fiction Fantasy) news sights and saw this wonderful news at Tor.com:
Leigh Bardugo—author of the best-selling Grishaverse series—dives into the DC Universe with Wonder Woman: Warbringer, a new coming-of-age story for the world’s greatest super hero, publishing this August from Random House.
I am a pretty big fan of the amazon powerhouse, but I have to be honest and say that comic books and graphic novels “aren’t my thing”. I’m working on that, truly. However, the stories that interest me are hard to find. (I’ve been hoping to find a BOOK of all the original wonder woman stories in order. This way, I figure, I can know the true story the way it was intended.) Novels are much easier for me to read, they just flow more natural for me.
So, when I saw that Leigh Bardugo wrote a book about Wonder Woman, well it seemed pretty obvious that I need to read it like yesterday. After all, Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows series is one of my favorite reads this year, and, well, Wonder Woman. Wish me good luck on my reading adventure! I’ll let you know how marvelous this book is or isn’t (hopefully the first).
Until then, much love and happy reading!
